Dan provided knowledge on purchasing and financing houses, the rental market in NYC, and the long-term viability of each unit we viewed. He also taught me the technical aspects of renting units in a building that you are living in and helped me set up leases. Due to his advice, expertise, and coaching, I was able to progress from looking for the simplest and easiest condo I could purchase anywhere in NYC/BK to purchasing a four-unit brownstone in Park Slope that I will keep forever and live in it and/or be able to rent and make a profit. Dan guided me to the optimal house, in the optimal location, with the optimal long-term investment potential.
Daniel was simply outstanding. He is everything and more of what you would want in a broker. Very proactive without being pushy to suggest ideas. Knows the market extremely well. Full of resources to find solutions/solve problems (the apt could not have been sold without him finding a solution to a problem with the terrace). Strong negotiation skills. Great network to help on the other aspects of buying an apt. Always available and so personable.
Daniel was always very pleasant. He gave us the facts and contacted us if anything needed to be reported. He went out of his way to stage the apartment with a few more items that updated it. He made time to bring us up to date on showings and was honest when he needed to be. He is a great communicator. I simply can't say enough good things about him and would highly recommend him.
